Job Title: Deputy Head – PPC

We are inviting applications for Deputy Head – PPC:

DESCRIPTION:​

  • Pivotal player in the Production planning process from execution to delivery

  • Identify issues and resolve in develop, manufacture, store, and ship products.

  • Require an understanding of accounting, legal documents, and to build lasting relationships with suppliers as they increase efficiency and focus on customer deliveries

  • Maintaining Quality Management Systems

  • Effectively monitor progress and tracking road blocks

  • Maintain alternative plan for production capacities to ensure seamless deliveries

  • Ensure match between the delivered product and the customer's need

  • Ensure Risk Management by guaranteeing good risk management practices

RESPONSIBILITIES:​

  • Extensively work for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery

  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the customer deliveries

  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors

  • Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements

  • Making sure the supplier payments are done as per agreed credit period

  • Collaborate with others for effective production planning and deliveries

  • Single point contact for customer for deliveries

QUALIFICATIONS:​

  • Degrees: Mechanical, industrial Engineering, Metallurgical engineer

  • Must possess good communication and time management skills. Must be able to effectively
    communicate

  • 15 to 20 year experience in PPC and Project Management

  • Good knowledge of planning tools like MS Projects etc

  • Good general knowledge in several manufacturing domain

  • Willingness to travel across India and outside for job related activities
