MSc Internship
Preference will be given for MSc with Specialization aligned with 2D materials,
semiconductors and product design
IICG Fellowship grant:As per the internal rules (calculated based on the GPA)
Eligibility:
● Be qualified through the Digital University Aptitude test (DUAT), JAM or GATE
● BSc/MBBS/B.Tech/BCA or equivalent in any branch with CGPA of 6.5 or above

● Those who qualify for admission to the MSc program can apply for an internship

● The final selection is based on the rank during the interview, requirements in the
project and funds available.
Selection process (External):
● Currently studying MSc from an institute or college or university.
● Should have completed two semesters with at least CGPA of 7.5 or above
● Candidates can submit a letter from their institute or college or university if a mark list
is not provided at the moment.

A student is eligible for only one Fellowship / Scholarship at a time. The
fellowship amount is disbursed as a lump sum for the fellowship period by the host institute
for a period agreed with the internship on a case to case basis following the rules of the
university, and the progress report on the project used to evaluate the continuity of the
fellowship.
3. MTech Internship
Preference will be given for M.Tech with Specialization aligned with electronics
engineering, materials engineering, semiconductors and product design

4. PhD Electronics Engineering Internship
Preference will be given for M.Tech with Specialization Product Design, Applied Materials,
Sensors, chip design and related areas
IICG Fellowship grant:
Rs 37,000 per month for the first two years, and Rs 42,000 per month for the third year
Eligibility:
● Be qualified through the Digital University Aptitude test (DUAT), or GATE
● M.Tech/MSc or equivalent in any branch with a CGPA of 6.5 or above

● Obtain admission to PhD Electronic Engineering at Digital University Kerala

Selection process (External):
● Currently enrolled in research centre approved by DUK
● Should have completed course work and comprehensive exam if any.

The performance of Interns will be reviewed every 3 months. The continuance of PhD
Internship after first Semester will be subject to satisfactory performance and scoring of a
minimum SGPA of 7.5 or above in each Semester. The continuance of internship after the first 6 months will be on the basis of the progress in their work and as recommended by the
Review Committee. A student is eligible for only one Fellowship / Scholarship at a time. The
fellowship amount is disbursed as a lump sum for the fellowship period by the host institute
for a period agreed with the internship on a case to case basis following the rules of the
university, and the progress report on the project used to evaluate the continuity of the
fellowship.
